NFC vs QR code: which review stand is better?
Both open your Google review page without searching. The difference is how the customer opens it, and that small difference changes how many people actually do.
NFC: tap the phone
An NFC chip inside the stand sends your link when a phone touches it. Nothing to open first: the customer holds their phone near the stand and the review page appears.
- Fastest: one movement
- Works in the dark
- Most recent iPhones (iPhone XS and newer) read it automatically; on some Androids NFC must be switched on in settings
QR code: scan with the camera
The customer opens their camera, points it at the code and taps the link that appears.
- Works on any phone with a camera
- Needs a few more steps and some light
- Familiar to almost everyone since the pandemic
Why not both?
Every Tapfour stand has an NFC chip and a QR code, so every customer has a way in: tap if their phone supports it, scan if it doesn’t. The Review + QR menu version adds a second QR code for your live menu.
Make reviews one tap away.
A Tapfour stand opens your Google review page with one tap. From ₱900, delivered in 4–8 days.
Do all phones support NFC?
Most recent iPhones and Android phones do. Older or budget Androids may not, or may have NFC switched off, which is why Tapfour stands also have a QR code.
Does NFC need battery or internet in the stand?
No. The chip has no battery and needs no Wi-Fi. The customer’s phone needs data to open the review page.
Can the link on an NFC stand be changed?
Yes, with the tapfour app: change the link once and every stand follows, with nothing to reprint.
